With a two-set victory Saturday, the Calumet Copper Kings won the West PAC Tournament held at Westwood High School.

The Copper Kings defeated the Patriots, 25-20 and 25-21, to seal the victory in the championship match.

Calumet went 2-1 in pool play to start the day. They topped Hancock, 25-6 and 25-13, before taking on the hosts. The Copper Kings defeated the Patriots, 25-14 and 25-5.

In their final match of pool play, Calumet dropped the first set, 25-17, before winning the second 25-13. The Miners took the tiebreaker 15-10.

In the semifinals, Calumet defeated Houghton, 25-21 and 25-22, to earn a spot in the championship match.
